Enhydra
Introduction
Enhydra (www.enhydra.org) is an open source software platform for the development of Web and wireless applications. It's based on a Java servlet implementation and utilizes a multi-tiered design. Enhydra provides a sophisticated presentation, business logic, and data-tiered system that permits flexible and maintable software development. The XML Compiler (XMLC) enables program logic and data to be completely separated from the user interface, a nice feature not found in many other application servers.
Many of Open3.org's Web pages are built with Enhydra. Notice the ".po" at the end of the URL? This signifies a "presentation object" in Enhydra. And, since Enhydra is Java-based and open source, connecting it to Open3.org software is a simple process.
